For quite some time now, at least back in AC 26, the trapezoid fixed windows do not gang correctly in 3D and elevations. There isn’t an option to turn off the casings as there is with other windows. Has anyone noticed this? Is it a bug, or is there some reason?

Is this only an issue with my installation? nobody else seeing this?

@heathldesign quite frankly the trapezoid window feature is horrible. i just spent over an hour looking at videos from the ice age and nothing has yet to explain it properly. not to mention menus are not the same within the interfaces from earlier AC versions. yes i know this thread is old but not much out there.

Which object are you using?
It worked for me last time I used it, which was actually ArchiCAD 26. Since then migrated to 27 without issues. On the right there are 2 ganged windows:
(The bottom frame prouder than the verticals isn't too nice, but not a disaster.)

What is the name of the window object?
I used "W Trapezoid Fixed 27".
edit: I just noticed that this is an old post. Is this still an issue? If so, I can send you screen shots of my settings.

hmmm...i will fire off a video Wednesday once behind the office computer. if not mistaken it is a "w trap-fixed 27" and the selectable nodes available did not provide enough flexibility. i tried to manually enter the shoulder height in relation to the roof pitch with non-consistent outcomes. in my case "ganging" is not required and they will be single independent trap. windows. we use them extensively in log home building and why this tool would be important. i could try the trap. opening tool, if node options are better. stay tuned for video...
