are the schedules not capable of showing symbol line types in the interactive schedule? I'm trying to use objects instead of line types for site elements, so that I can automate my legends; but all I get are solid lines.
I've tried adjusting schedule scale, view scale, line scaling and size, etc. Is it just not an option? when I open the preview annotate dialog, I see the correct line type, but in the schedule, it's just solid.

Just a guess, but any chance this is related to MVOs and possibly having objects show as simplified?

This issue occurs because Archicad interactive schedules do not natively render complex symbol line types. This is a significant limitation, and I hope Graphisoft improves this functionality in future updates.

Hi Patrick,
I'd never thought of using objects to then create an automatic legend. Since Archicad 7, I've always used a small custom "Line Legend" object that I configure manually.
I've been thinking about your idea and its problem, and I've found a workaround using scripts and different 2D symbols for each layer.
Obviously, the scripts and 2D symbols need to be adapted to the line attributes of your template.
In short, I'm asking it, in schedule mode, to display the 2D symbol rather than the line drawn in the 2D script.
Here's a small example object.
If you need more explanation, I'll make a short video of the method I used.
