A quick one for any mac user, we had problems with PDF's loosing lines and hatching when viewing it via preview (Mac OSx 10.3.9 picture and pdf viewing utility) the problem ended up being preview not understanding some of the components. Adobe worked no problem, just Macs own PDF viewing utility, this is currently on GS's desk to try and work out why! So if preview doesn't view it, download adobes reader.

Not to make little of this silly limitation of ArchiCAD, There is a utility that is so helpful in many similar situations. It is called Bulk Rename Utility and it is fast, and easy to use. Great for digital photos, folders, or any kind of file.
