Hello everyone.
I'm a relatively new user to archicad. I've run into a problem I can't seem to find an answer to. My overhead garage doors don't show any color in elevations. They appear correctly in 3d, but not in elevations. If i change the garage door type to any other type, not overhead, the color appears correctly.
I could only suspect it has something to do with the fact that overhead garage doors are located on the interior side of walls, but what setting I'm looking to change I'm not able to find.
Also, if i switch off transparency in elevation settings, the garage door shows as a solid white block, almost as if there is an invisible glazing in front of the actual garage door.
Operating system used: Windows 10

Hello Krispaco, this is hard to say what the cause of the problem is. Could you upload your file? Which version of AC are you using?

Managed to find the issue after a couple of days of struggling. By slowly pushing the garage door further from the outer wall face to the inner, found the point the color changes, and then realized it was a zone with a clear glass model surface.
So is the solution to create layer combinations so that zone layers do not appear on elevations, or is there another way to remove the material / color associated with zones altogether? I rarely need zone colors on floor plans or sections/elevations.

Yes.
If you don't need to see the zones, turn that layer off.
Barry.
