AC11 Column Settings - No Symbolic Cut or Pen Setting

To verify if I am doing something wrong:

If you place a regular column you cannot select to specify Core Line type or Pen nor can the symbolic cut be selected. I know that for complex profiles it is off but happens with either a regular circular or square column.

I'm not sure. I can't seem to reproduce that on my end

Ok did a new and reset and it worked fine. For the one that it is not working you have to select the "complex profile" and switch back and then you will be able to select the lineweight and linetype. The problem might be the migrated template that I used to start the project.

I would place the file for testing but it does not reduce to the minimum allowed even with only one column in the file. If anybody want to test it please PM and I will send the file.

Eduardo, I reported this during beta and have had one more
instance to need reporting after release.
It is erratic and difficult to replicate.
Thanks for finding another work around.
You may still have my address.
If so please send me the file to test.

No need for a file - the 'new' from the default US template demonstrates this bug every time, and your workaround of selecting complex and then back to square or circular works. Good work. Since it is 100% reproducible now, I've reported it again with a link to this thread and a mention of Rod's beta report.

Thanks Karl. Tested Eduardo's file yesterday.
He has this morning said "BTW I was able to "jump start" the column tool from the info box by switching to custom back and forth also."

I have only been able to get the work around to work from the Col Selection Settings but not from Floor Plan and Section Display within the Info Box.
Tried again just now to see if I missed anything yesterday.

Have sent report to GS also.

But now we have a work around, thanks to Eduardo.
