Has the Break Line for details been removed in the upgrade? If not where is it?

Works fine for me. The "Built-In Detail Marker" seems to work the best.

That's the one I am using. I only have 3 hotspots and if the marker line is not in a corner then it is either horizontal or vertical and there are no options to specify the break line point in the marker settings.

Yeah, I see what you mean now. The "Detail Indicator_NCS" will get you there, although you may have to play around with the pet palette a bit to stretch or drag appropriately.

Actually none of the markers work for what I need, except if I keep drawing using either AC10, 09 and 08.

Can not import the marker from AC 10 because the Auto reference does not work. This is what I hate about upgrade-downgrades. One item that I have used without problem now is broken because somebody decided that Detail Markers do not need the break line and now I have to change my 20 years drawing convention to what a programer decided is the way I should draw.

I appreciate that the marker now does not separate from the bubble but at the expense of taking away the break line?

The firsts days with an upgrade are a pain.

Got IT! Does not work as previous ones but is as close as I am going to get.

You can get it to be identical to what you want. Try copying the Detail Indicator_NCS from your AC9 Library to your AC11 Library, and using that.

thanks Richard

Importing/copying the one from AC09 does not work since the Auto Text is looking for Plotmaker.

Oh, you wanted the new detail linking, too? Boy, you're demanding.

I thought I read somewhere that AC11 was a paid upgrade and I was under the misconception that certain tools were improved

Maybe it was just the yearly donation to the Church of BIM and not a feature list what I read about…
