Aligning 3D textures on Complex Profile Beam

I created a complex profile for the raked gable end of a roof and assigned a roof shingle texture to one of the components that make the profile. I placed a beam using the complex profile and all is well except I am unable to align the 3D texture. If I convert the profile to a morph, then the 3D texture can be selected and aligned. Preference would be to keep the complex profile.

Am I missing something or is this a limitation of complex profiles?

Hm, I cannot set the Origin or Direction of the Texture for the Beam either.
I even tried to override the surface but it doesn't work then either.
I will report this to Graphisoft.

Thanks guys for bringing this up. I can confirm the issue, we are working on the solution.

I am having the same problem but with the Brick coursing on my wall. I set the fill in the complex manager as element origin instead of project origin. I have tried the search function and this is the closest thing to my problem.

My Project architect wanted me to find a solution on this due to a big project we are working on. We are currently using Archicad 15.

Thanks
