ArchiCAD 28 line tracking is slower

Did anyone notice the ArchiCAD 28 is struggling more with fluid shapes when tracking the lines? It looks like everytime I try to do a slab by using tracking of slipe lines the software just frozes for 2-3 minutes. This is really frustrating considering the size of the project I am working on. I want to know if someone has the same issues.

You mean magic wanding a spline?

If so, how complex is your spline, how many nodes, what is the shape like?

Is your trace & reference turned on?

If so, try turning it off.

Yes, I do mean magic wanding a spline by using spacebar, but is not that complex at all. Sometimes it happends with just a few lines crossing over. The tracking is off. The main problem is that this function was way faster in the other versions, so I'm wondering if this is the 28 problem.

I found this old post, not sure if it helps ...

There are a few if you search "magic wand slow".

We really need to see what you are magic wanding.
