Hey everybody,

Im new to this forum so thanks for all the help you give me.

Im using Archicad 14
Im currently in the middle of a school project and have added objects to the floor plan. I want to move some objects and delete some but they wont delete no matter what i do. Some objects are fine and will move/delete but certain ones such as the washing machine, kitchen sink and basin will not delete no matter what i do.

Please help

Kind Regards
Anthony

Maybe the Layer with that objects is LOCKED?
Or objects were locked (not only layers can be locked but objects themselves)

I'm not sure but I think this happens when you place MEP plumbing objects with the MEP installed and then open the file without the MEP installed. I'm not sure but this has happened to me a few times, I just never tracked down the source of the problem. Just select the item, go to EDIT in the menu and select LOCKING. From there you can unlock the item.

Opening the file on a computer without MEP is the problem (or not problem, but program function). MEP objects (meaning anything with a connection) lock automatically if MEP isn't installed. This is super annoying when the person developing a template has MEP installed, but no one else does. Makes it really annoying to evaluate MEP, but not use it on a typical project.
