We did install the goodies add-on. We check in the add-on manager if the add-on is loaded and it is. We verified all menu and the tool check duplicates is not there and we did also went to the work environment and it not there.
We did the last patch and didn't resolve the problem.

I don't have 29 loaded on this machine, but it should be the same as these images from 28.
If you search by "all commands in alpabetical order", you shold see the commands that you can drag to a menu of your choice.
You may have to create a menu (Check Duplicates) if you want them in your own menu.
If you search by "all menus in alphabetical order", you should see the "Check Duplicates" menu if it was created when you installed the add-on.
Then you need to drag the menu into another menu of your choice (you can't drag the commands as they are greyed out).
Actually this is the easier option if the "Check Duplicate" menu exists.
The add-on Manager should show you where the commands are supposed to be.

Do you have a custom Work Environment, or a WE from an old version that you are using?
If so, you may need to manually add the commands to your menus.
In the WE, make sure you are searching "All Command in Alphabetical Order" or you will not see them.

not working on my installation either. Barry's WE comments didn't work either. I can see the elements of the submenu, but not trace them to their main item. Add-On Manager says it's loaded, but doesn't indicate where.

Thanks Barry,
That worked.

I believe the trick to making this work from the start was:
This way you would have the menu items in place without having to add them manually.

Hi Erwin,
I typically install AC, then goodies, then any current update/patch. This time, it didn't work as planned.

Damn, even the bugs can't stay consistent between versions!
Edit: I just checked, but my AC29 has the check duplicates in menu without creating it myself. As I recall the crucial step is to not open archicad (after installing it) before installing the goodies

Sorry Barry, but in version 28 everything was ok. V29 there something different. As mention before the add-on is loaded but it is not in the menu manager as you show.

I haven't installed 29 on my laptop yet.
I will deliberately install then open it and then install the goodies to see what happens.
I thought this was supposed to have been fixed.
All I can think of is the commands may not be there if you use a custom Work Environment, or maybe an old one imported from an old version.
I didn't have a problem on my desktop, but I always install Archicad then the goodies and then start Archicad.
