Arrow Tool and the Bounding Box

hello all,

Is there a way to toggle on/off the bounding box feature of the arrow tool (whether it picks only objects completely inside or not ) without having to move the mouse off the workspace??

Just like the way that ArchiCAD has given us shortcut keys of (G)eometry and (C)onstruction for the Wall Tool to scroll thru the different options, so one doesn't have to move the mouse away from the workspace, can't we have a shortcut toggle for this all important tool ??

Or worse comes to worse, just do it like Autocad, ! where it just depends on where you start your bounding box; top-left or bottom-right

That's been a really long-standing wish list item. I don't know of one.

I haven't been able to find one either, but definitely agree that it's needed.

yes - and a 'construction' method for the marquee tool too!

I couldn't agree more.

What's the point of having shortcuts for the arrow tool, if you still have to leave the work area to set and reset the mode?
