Bent and arched round columns

Hi to all of the members we just joined in the forum and already found it really interesting.
We were working since a couple of months ago in ACAD but forced to pass to Archicad 14.
We have a major problem that was easy to solve in ACAD but no way to find a solution in AC14, Thank you for any help:
The structure we have to design has a undulated roof (done) that have to be supported by a series of columns made of steel tubes wrapped together at the base and as long as the tubes rise from the floor, are warped to join and support the roof.
The warping is made by bending the tubes at specific radii and through specific welded and bolted junction flanges. It is a sort of vertical piping with structural capacity
Any suggestion? Thank you in advance

Hi Monica. Some picture or handrawn sketch will be helpful for us.

Hi

You can use the Tube and Elbow Tube objects from the standard library - you can set diameter, thickness, radius of curves and angles, and join various parts together.

OR you could check out Encina's OBJECTiVE add-on which seems to do almost anything you could want.
