Column (complex profile) finish/veneer

Hi!

I have a pilar that is a bit skewed so i had to use the "complex profile" option, but now i see there is no "finish" or "veneer" option for the complex profile.

How would i go about to have a finish on it?

I had to use that complex profile on the story below without finish. Do i have com make a copy of that same profile but add the 2cm plaster finish on the complex profile drawing itself?

Thanks

You will have to draw the finish yourself in the complex profile. Basically, you don't need a complex profile in your situation; your shape is rectangular, if you place the column as a “normal” column, you can turn on the finish.

A complex profile column is like a complex profile wall.

The fills (building materials) you use to create it can be any shape and in any position.

So you can create a complex profile column with a veneer skin that is any shape you want.

The veneer button will not work with complex profiles.

You have to create the veneer in the profile itself.

Hi!

My pillar is not rectangular, it is skewed, as i said in the the main text (no 90⁰ degrees between sides).

I will then have to recreate that pilar from below and add manually the plaster.

Thanks!

I replied on my cellphone but it didnt get posted. The element is skewed, as i said in the text above, there are no 90º degrees angles between any sides on the column. So i guess i will have to duplicate that profile and add the plaster manually to it.

Thanks,
