License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Columns visible on other stories

This is something I had hoped would come up somewhere else. Maybe it has and I have missed it. Is there any way to show columns on other stories like we are able to do with objects, slabs, and roofs?

If it needs to be a library object, has anybody else experienced and / or addressed this?

It would be great to have the ability to see and understand point loads being transferred from above.

You can use the ghost story just to see them, but if you wanted them to be part of your plan, you may have to upgrade to 10 and use cut planes to show stuff below.

The column tool doesn't have a show on stories option, but the object tool does. So you could use an object to show on different stories.

Cheers,
Link.

Do a little windsurfing on the Hood do you? I had my first kitesurfing lesson on the weekend and I must say I'm hooked!

Not ready to upgrade yet. Still finding out cool stuff in 9.

I did some further searching around this post late last night and found some other options. Slab tool, MASTERPOST_WD from Objects Online, or venture a little further ino GDL and create a new libraray part.

Still requesting advice on that last one.

Why not use the "Post" object within the Object Library > 06 Wood Plastic > Roof Construction folder?
