I'm using complex profiles to create a header for my doorways; however, when I look at it in 3D it cuts my header off unless I take it away from the framing already created.

The building materials you use in the beam need to be stronger than those in the wall, if you want the beam to cut away the wall.

Because your wall is stronger, it is cutting the beam.
