Convert morph to mesh

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm new to archicad.
I would like to ask, and I would appreciate any answer:
I drew the ground with a mesh tool, I put the altitudes with "level dimension tool", then I turned it into "morph" (so I lost the altitudes).

There is a solution, some tool, so I can place the altitudes on "morph" element, or re-convert "morph" to "mesh".(delete face from morph can not convert it to mesh)

Unfortunately the level dimension tool does not snap (gravitate) to a morph.

If you haven't done any work since you can of course 'Undo' to go back to your morph.

But if you have done work since creating the morph, then you have no choice except to recreate the mesh.
You can drag the nodes of the mesh to match the shape of the morph in 3D if that helps - then delete (or hide) the morph.

You're right, I probably have to re-design it.
Thanks for the immediate response!

I am thinking whether the brand new functionality of the Grasshopper-ARCHICAD could help in this case. I specifically refer to the Deconstruct feature.
What I am thinking is that it may be possible to take the Morph geometry, deconstruct it in Grasshopper, then use that geometric data to create a Mesh geometry.

I have not tried it but it may be possible to do. I think the GH-AC Connection could be used for many similar cases.

Thank you Laslo,
By the way do you know when we're getting the 5010 update corrected ? I'm waiting for it to be able to use the AC-GH connection since it only works with this update...
