Custom Column Cross Type? I smell a challenge!

I'm new to Archicad and so far it is great!
In the Column Default Settings, there are settings for "Cross Parameters" which allow you to change the Cross Type (Plain, Slash, X, Crosshair).

I'm wondering if there is a way to modify or create my own Cross Type.
I'd love to be able to produce my own like the image I've created (see attached image YBH_COLUMN.jpg).

I thought about making a new cut hatch, but i can't seem to get the scale right etc. Plus, if we use a 6x6 column one day and an 8x8 the next, i'd like the Cross Type to work no matter what.

The hacker side of my brain says that the Cross Type image files (or maybe they're just attributes in a text file i can edit) must be located somewhere and therefore I should be able to bust them open and copy or modify them -- any thoughts on that route?

I kow you'll never be able to read the "YBH" on the floorplan, but you'd be able to zoom in really close on the electronic file and see that it was drawn by my company -- super secret security measures.

I think the four possible choices are hard-coded into Archicad, just like many other things, for example arrow head types. So you cannot change that.
About creating your own symbol fill and applying that to your Columns as a Cut Fill Type: the problem is that all Columns' Fills start from the same Global Origin. This is why the Fill of Columns placed next to each other look continuous (see attached image).
So it would be impossible to control how they appear and even if you created a symbol fill containing your signature, you could not control it so that it would always appear in the lower left corner ot the Column.

Thanks for the explaination . . . i figured that would happen based on the way fills seem to behave . . . so it's good that you verified that for me.
