Custom frame profile with Curtain Walls

Achille Pavlidis

Hi,

I have created a custom frame profile and saved it as a library part.

Although when I select it on the Curtain wall settings it appears correctly, then when it is placed it has nothing to do.

See attached images. Why is this happening?

Instead of the Modular Profile, try the Editable Glazing Profile. It should work better.
The Modular Profile should be used when you want to combine more then one frame peaces (more complex solutions)

Guys thanks for all the suggestions

In the end it had to do with Projection settings.

Specifically Floor Plan & Section -> Floor Plan Display -> Projection Mode Hybrid -> Set display mode for visible components -> Cut Components -> Projected.

I think GS should somehow streamline how the custom frame profile works...
