There used to be an add-on called rxduplicator that worked with ArchiCAD 9 that would do what you want but sadly it seems to have become defunct as their website domain has died
There appears to be a few dubious looking websites that claim to have a "free" version of rxduplicator but I wouldn't touch em' with a barge pole let alone a PC
I have the rxduplicator but it only works with AC9 and I've moved onto AC11 so have to make do with using distance snap and a spline line method.
If there is an alternative API out there I would like to hear about it.
