Changing the resolution in 29 does not affect the handle. In 28 it works OK.
Can someone else confirm this? All settings are in Full Detail.

I don't see any effect either when changing the resolution in AC29.
I've double checked the modelview options, but there are no resolution settings there either, that might interfere.

Are you using the exact same Handles in both Ac28 and Ac29?
I tried "Handle 3" and it gave me the same result.
I also checked the GDL script for both versions: The "DoorHandle.gsm" macro contains the script and it uses the resolution of either 8 or 12. Both it is the same for both versions?
Can you post a screenshot of how it looks in Ac28?

I used a different one in 28 and it worked fine
so it seems some might be faulty some not.
@Laszlo Nagy do you think this should be sent to a resseler or you can inform the devs?
Greetings.

I actually looked at some of the Door Handles and what I saw is that some of them use these specific resolution values (8 and 12 and 16), while others are scripted to have a resolution dependent on the "Resolution" parameter.
If you feel this is an error or something that needs improvement, I suggest that you contact your reseller.

These handles have always been a problem, and it ties back into Graphisoft's apathy when it comes to 3d resolution.
Your best bet is to use custom handles.

Or, if you feel adventurous, you can modify the DoorHandle.gsm file so that all handles react to resolution settings the way you want them to.

If only host parameters were passed onto Custom parts such as door handles and door panels... Not that GS door handles have many parameters to begin with... It would appear that my wish regarding parameter transfer throughout the object heirachy got purged...
