Door with parallel sides in circular wall

I am trying to model a "medieval" tower in Archicad 11. But when I simply add a door to the circular wall, the sides of the door opening are not parallel to each other, but "vanish" towards the wall's center point. So, because the wall is very thick (around 3 metres), the door hole is significantly wider on the outside of the wall than on the inside.

How can I make a "rectangular" door in a circular wall? Thank you.

*Edit: It would be better to speak of a "tunnel" than a door.

Peter, I have been overly quick with my reply that your tips worked well for me. I had tried the "W splayed reveal" and it did what you said, and then I went to bed. Today, when I tried to specify parallel sides for the "W rectangular Opening 11", I couldn't find where.

Can you describe, where you specify parallel or radiused sides, or post a screenshot?

Adrian, thank you for that screenshot. Now I see the problem: I don't have that option in my version of ArchiCAD. Below is a screenshot of what I see when I access the window's settings. How do I access the other options?

I don't really know why you experience this. What library version are you using? Is it INT or maybe GER? (I am asking thinking there might be some differences between libraries) Have you updated your library? (Help > Check for Updates) If you haven't, you should, as the first version of AC11's library is known to be buggy.

Aha, it really is a difference between the different versions. The German version does not have the rectangular opening at all (although it has the splayed reveal), and the US version, though it has both objects, does not offer to set the 3d opening sides. Only the international version has all these options.

The INT library window functions go beyond the library - there is code in the application that addresses the special functions that we all want.

Hello Dwight,
I suspected that the international version of the application
was different from the US version. I wonder if, as you say
there is internal code in the INT version of the application that
addresses special functions, there is likewise special code in the
US version of the application that does not exist in the
INT version of the application.

I also wonder if Andy has addressed the issue of differing localized applications.
Andy says that his office is using his new combined library
and says it works fine but if there is an issue with differing application
versions then I don't understand how he can say this.
As far as I know, one can't switch application versions depending on
which library part one wants to insert into a project.

Djordje says try the "consolidated libraries" but they are not available
because Andy can't find the authors of some lib parts he wants
to include to get permission to include them in his library.
So we can't test this issue.

After we learned of the special window function in the INT windows, I verified that I would need an INT version to run it.

You can put the INT windows into the USA library - and use the windows - but the chamfer function is inactive.
