Draw an Eves Return Squiggly line?

I drew an eves return on the roof layer. I started with a column to sit on the 1' return. But, for some reason plan view shows the column with these squiggly lines? Anyone know why that would be?

The same column on the main layer has lines that represent the column right.

@farmer, check the Floor Plan and Section settings for the column (in the Column settings). What is the cut line type? If it's not showing the column as cut, check the other Floor Plan and Section line types.
