Elevation issues

i have an elevation that shows a wall through to the outside. it is a 5.5" wall butted up to a 3.5" wall and a 3.5" wall coming in perpendicular to the other two at the same place they adjoin. the elevation shows a line on the outside of the plan. is there a way to hide this or fix it so it doesn't show up?

Avoid the 3-wall T joints in elevations. In your example you can flip the reference line for the partition wall (Edit>Modify Wall>Reference Line>invert all sides or something like that, if you don't want to switch the wall to the other side and drag it), so that the two exterior walls abutt and the interior wall makes a T with the thicker wall to the right.

If you keep your interior walls on a separate layer, you can turn it off in elevations. Aside from preventing problems like this, it also makes the elevations build faster.
