Hi!

I have 2 questions regarding Door/Window stamps:

1. how can I export Door/Window stamp from Archicad?

I learned in this article I can save Door/Window stamp settings in my archicad template with favourites:

I can´t find out though how to export the stamps, so I could import them in another procect?

I guess it should ne possible, since there is also an option to import Door/Window Stamp

2. What would be the easiest or fastest way to Change Door/Window stamp of all Windows/doors in Archicad library 26, including the favourites?

If there is any good tutorial on the topic (preferably manual over video), I also appritiate it.

Tnx!

I don't speak French, but all they are doing is opening the library part in the object editor.

File menu > Libraries and Objects > Open Object.

Browse for the Marker Symbols folder and open the marker that you want.

In my AUS library ...

Then edit the settings and then 'Save As' with a new name.

If you save this in the Embedded Library, it will only be available in that file.

You will then have to save it to an external solder.

Or just save it directly to an external folder (ideally your office library) so that you can load it in any file.

The door & window stamps (markers) are objects in the Archicad library.

They will be available in any file if you have the same library loaded.

If you are saving particular settings as a favourite, then you can export that favourite from the favourite palette.

There is no need to export it though, as you can simply import it into any file by browsing for the .pln file that you have saved the favourite in.

Hi Bary,

Thank you for your reply.

I also thought that door marker is located somewhere in the object library, but I couldn´t find it anywhere.

Just to verify, the object should be somewhere here, right?

When I say they are objects, they are special objects with their own object sub-type.

So they are not useable with the object tool.

They can only be seen in the list of markers in the door and window settings.

If you have created a 'custom' marker, then you should find it in your Embedded Library.

The marker list in the door and widow settings will automatically find all markers in all of your loaded libraries.

Okay, thank you, this part I understood.

How do I create a custom marker then?
I see here that a current door marker type first has to be found and copied in order to be customized:

But when I open this library, there are no door markers inside.
