does anyone know how to create a floor plan for use in 3d? The guide in the archiguide section is one that i have used before on previous versions of archicad but i cant get it to work in V9. It works ok upto opening the dwg file as an object in archicad. Can anyone help?

I get to the point where you have to open the dwg file as an object.

File > GDL Objects > Open Object....
In the window that opens, browse to the DWG file you want to open.
Make sure to enable "DWG" as the file type you are looking for. Sometimes Archicad will not open the file if you do not have this selected.
