If you are using AC23 or later, go into your beams settings and change the Uncut Projection Mode to Projected .

ps. You should add your AC version together with some computer and system specs to your profile signature as some issues / problems are version / OS specific.

The beam ends will join seamlessly.
There was a similar post just a while ago with a solution but it may not be what you want.
Beams also now have cover fills - but that may not work for you either.
But I just remembered this new setting.
Give this a try.
If your beams are above the Floor Plan Cutting Plane set the 'overhead' to projected.
If your beams are below the Floor Plan Cutting Plane set the 'uncut' to projected.
I will post this answer in the other post as well.
