Help importing DWG file-the scale is lost

I have problems importing a dwg, file. I f I´m wrong please just tell me, maybe I´m missing a step.This is the procedure first I go to file, open file, enable dwg file, select, and then click on settings.

Then on settings, I duplicate the DEFAULT TRANSLATOR, and rename it. Then on drawing unit check, the value that I want mm, here I have selected the last one, but I´m not sure if this is the correctly.

So far so gopod mate. Next step is to select a translator. If you haven't already, start by duplicating the Default Translator and editing it if needed.

Then just continue inserting the DWG, skip all SHX files ( the text will just import using your default font) and missing images (if any), and bob's a gameshow host.

BTW you can also drag & drop a DWG file right onto your floor plan, use File>Merge or even better, use File>Modules & XREF's>Attach XREF...

then attributes, layers, line types, custom functions (open extras), save settings.

then I choose a file, to extract elements to that folder

the scale of the dwg file is lost, why this happens?, is the file bad, or my procedure?

if I click 100%, the file almost disappear.

Sorry - my previous post caught you after step one!

So the scale is completely separate - set that *before* you open/merge/attach the DWG. It is something you set first!

Link, thanks for your post, I´m trying to merge the file, but it still doing me the same, as the example I had made., the scale is lost. Can you be more explicit.?
