I am looking for any recommendations as to how to approach this project involving irregular shaped walls and intricate historic window reveals. Especially in plan view.
Do you recommend modelling things? Or just 2D drawing in this case?
Here'a a sample of what I would like to achieve:
Many thanks guys.

Hi @alexliz ,
You can use the complex geometry method for walls and apply reveals to openings; that was the only way to deal with those different historic details.

I assume by complex geometry, Mahmoud means 'Polygonal' wall geometry.
This can only be used with a basic wall structure, not with composites and complex profiles.

Exactly, I meant the polygonal wall, thanks Barry.

Thanks guys, interesting. Perhaps in combination with some SEO it can work.

The polygonal wall allows you to have any shape / thickness wall in plan and you can still use the standard windows with their various reveal shapes.
If you need reveals that you can't do with the standard windows or you need varying thickness at different heights, then you may need to use SEO to cut bits away.
Remember these SEO cuts will not show in plan.
Barry.

could you use the sketch line type for the walls to indicate they have an irregular shape?
