How to cut beam on specific spot?

Noody

Hello everyone,

I have a question about cutting beams at a specific spot. Is there any way I can cut the beam at a specific spot, as shown in the picture? I need to make a custom truss for the roof, but also for the project plan, i need to have that cut part on the timber so it can be shown where to cut it and on which angle and etc... I tried to explore some of the things to make my own beam with cut on specific distance, but i was not able to make it.

Operating system used: Windows
