I basically replied there the same as Laszlo suggested.
Here is what I said...
The connection is controlled by the Priority Based Connections (PBC) of the wall and slab.
As the wall continues below the slab, there is nothing there to cut it away.
So one solution would be to add an extra 'void' under the slab composite to effectively make it thicker to cut the wall away.
But a better solution is to create a complex profile of the main wall and add a 'modifier' to the base of the external skin so that you can stretch it to the required height of the lower wall.
Or you could add in a 3rd wall that is literally just the external skin at the side of the floor slab.
