I placed a picture
Scaled that drawing and measured with a dimension. overall down the image and ALL was Good
Then I measured the measurement and the new measurement of the measurement never the image
And the measurements are totally different.
Note did not measure the image btue measured a measurement and the distances did not equal/

Can you post a screen shot?
I can't quite follow what you are doing.
Did you use the 'figure' tool to place a picture or the 'drawing' tool to place a drawing?
Are you saying, you have measured the dimension, but the measurement does not show what the dimension says?

How different are we talking? More than just having different Dimension Settings vs Working Units?

I don't understand what you mean by you "measured a measurement".
Do you mean you use the measurement tool to measure the length of a placed dimension?
An image will explain a lot (I hope).

it sounds like either your dimension style (option > project preferences > dimension) is rounding or your working units (options > project preferences > working units) are rounding... maybe both?
...
i set both to 1/64" precision in my templates. I hate seeing 10'+10'-1/4" = 20' - 1/2". I also hate looking at the tracker and seeing anything but the actual number input. I don't personally click, I input the value/distance in the tracker, but I also don't want the measure tool (also uses tracker) to round up/down.
