Legacy Preference

Hi guys.

I work it a small business whos archicad template was built in AC13 and never developed for the following releases but rather just opened in the new version of archicad and saved.

The issue I have is with the Legacy feature.

When the legacy feature is on the beams dont intersect correctly.
When turning off the legacy feature the beams work correctly but all of the walls disappear in elevation.

Can anyone tell me why and how to fix this please?

Thanks.

Yep, worked perfectly for me, except I don't have the 4D library.

I opened it in 23, is that the version you are using?

That last file you sent (7234KB) opened fine for me.
It shouldn't have anything to do with the library.

Make sure you have the latest build for 23 (4006).

Maybe shut Archicad down and reopen the file you just sent.

Are you sure you are opening the repaired file?
Maybe try the repair again.
As soon as I did the repair, got the message something was fixed, the elevation was fine.

Hi there.

Just wondering if you ever solved this issue?

I am doing some drawings for a company and they use Version 20 however still had the legacy settings turned om, which was a pain to deal with due to all the lines that appear on elevation.

I have turned off all the settings and am now having the same issues as yourself. Also with the roof planes on plan view - they just don't show, however the roof can still be selected.

Very frustrating, so would love to know how to rectify this in the interim until the company moves to 24.

Thanks.

Did you try the file repair option?
That is what worked when I tried.
