Hi,
I am making a pump track in Archicad. I managed to make a somewhat believable track, however I am having problems with endings (see attached pictures). I made custom profile for curves, and the track itself with extruding morph.
If you think it's possible to do it with shells or something else better, I will, I just need it to look good.
Thanks!

What is it supposed to look like?
Can you show an example?

I basically tried to copy this floor plan and section which are not from the same pump track.
This is not a real project so the dimensions are not really important, that's why I drew only one track and copied it.
However, I still want it to look okay and learn how to do it better.

Could you use a Ruled Shell to do the transition from the pump to the berm?

Ahh, a BMX cycle track.
I'm feeling my age.
I think I would tackle this with the mesh tool.
Map out the shape of the track and then add contours across the width of the track that you can set the height for.
The more contours you have, the smoother the bumps will be.
The curved ends might need a combination of curved contours and individual nodes to transition between the high bank and low track.
In my head this should work.
I just don't have Archicad on this laptop to test.
Barry.
