License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Missing toggle for wall surface override

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,

in a project in AC22 (v3009 for Win) I cannot toggle the wall surface overriding. In a new project it works fine but in my current project I cannot switch it off on any walls.

I've got another project from the same guy, who made both buildings' surveys. I think, he made them in an earlier version of AC. Is it possibly the reason for my problem? And if yes, how can I solve the issue?

Thanks,
Áron

The file was likely created in a version before AC17 - when we introduced Building Materials.
To maintain compatibility, we have what we call "legacy mode" to avoid any changes in the model/appearance when migrating files.
To turn off this "legacy mode", go to Project Preference / Legacy, and turn off "Use legacy interaction and Surface methods for model elements".

Thanks, worked fine!
