Modeling grid ceiling

Hi I'd like to get some hints how to properly modeling ceiling.

- I'm using usually Curtain Walls for it and it's quite heavy and not that easy to set and manipulate with view setting.

Is there any better solution how to do it and keep seeing the grid and 3D volume of ceiling ?

- Right know I'm watching tut. on YT about using object : Ceiling Editor INT_v2.01. Is this best way how to do it ?

I'm just curios how the other architect doing this is there some tool in Archicad ? I couldn't' find it .
