Objects over fills in elevation

I am making a elevations of bathrooms, and keeping them linked to the model. I am using a 2d fill to draw the tile patterns on the walls behind the fixtures, and rather than tracing the toilet object, I want it to show in front of the fill.

I have tried setting the object's fill to solid and using a white pen, changing display orders, but the only solution I have is to trace the toilet with another fill(either as an additional fill on top or subtraction of the tiled fill. Neither is satisfactory)

Last thing: I don't want to do a 3d hatch on the wall (lack of control of origin, complex tile pattern) nor make 3D objects out of slabs of the tile patterns(too much work: draw tiles, make slabs, save object, place in plan, redo to correct mistakes....)

Any suggestions?

You may have better luck copying & pasting to the floor plan and using the magic wand to obtain the fill boundary you need, then pasting the fill back into the section.

I would recommend using the 3D Hatch though wherever possible. You can use the Edit>Align 3D Texture to get most simple fills aligned the way you want.

For multiple walls/fills you may want to take a look at ArchiWall.
