Offsetting Walls

I found lots of information about offsetting polylines, but can't seem to find a way to offset a wall. I need to offset a curved wall and "drag a copy" wont make the curves concentric so I need an offset function...anybody help with this one?

One way is to copy the wall, paste the copy, select either wall
and when the pet pallet comes up select the offset method and
enter the radius for the offset wall.

That's pretty much it. Offset the wall the same as offsetting a polyline - Magic Wand.

I cant find offset at all on my computer. Which is strange because others here have it. I heardyou press 'o' to also enable offset but that does nothing either. Is it on the recent patch?

Th Offset Tool can be made visible by activating the "Control Box' pallette from The "Window" Menu.

Once you can see it on your screen, ask someone in the office to show you how it works.

Cheers!

It's probably a difference in Workspace. If you show the Control Palette, then O should work. If not, you might need to add it to your keyboard shortcuts.

Thanks I have it now. I've even finally figured out how to offset splines using polylines and the magic wand! Thats been bugging me for months.
