There is also the line consolidation tool that can merge overlapping lines that aren't exact duplicates.
I am assuming by "nested" that you mean overlapping or duplicate.
If by "nested" you mean "grouped" then just use the enable groups button and delete all the grouped lines in one go.
But like Kombibob I think you mean overlapping.
