Hi Community.
I got sick of waiting for Graphisoft to implement a function to rotate geometry quickly by 90 degrees, like whacking the spacebar in Revit.
So I built my own dirty version using AutoHotKey.
1. Install AHK v2 (with your admin's blessing) it's harmless.
2. Paste the below code into a new text file saved as *.ahk, on your machine.
^Space::
{
BlockInput("On") ; Temporarily block all user input
Send("{Ctrl up}") ; Release Ctrl key if held
Sleep(20)
BlockInput("Off") ; Allow input again
Sleep(10)
Send("^d") ; Send clean Ctrl+d
Sleep(10)
Click()
Sleep(10)
Send("1")
Send("{Enter}")
Sleep(10)
Send("90")
Send("{Enter}")
}
3. Put a shortcut to this script in your startup folder, so it's always on when you start windows.
Now I can use ctrl+Spacebar to rotate whatever I have selected in plans or 3d windows. Nice little timesaver. feel free to adapt to your own workflow.

Notes:
Assumes Ctrl+Space is unassigned in your Archicad shortcuts, either clear it in AC or reassign in the code to something you prefer.
"^d" refers to "Ctrl+d" which is my rotate shortcut, replace in the code with your own shortcut or reassign to Ctrl+d in Archicad
Assumes using degrees,
Works by simply recreating the key sequence of shortcut to rotate, clicking 3-points and defining 90 degrees. won't copy and rotate.
No guarentees and not responsible for any malfunctioning on your machine.
