How do I remove the project preview? I want the icon to go back to normal - like all the other ArhiCAD files.
or maybe paste a totally white image in?
i must say that i haven't ever tried . . . and i don't think i want to start experimenting if you're having trouble getting rid of yours!

Half and half - you have to go Ctrl+A, but then "Cut" the image, not "Delete".
Happy chappy now

I've never noticed this before and decided to see what's up.
In AC17 after following instructions (image is 128x128 *.jpg)
I don't get a preview icon in Windows Explorer nor in the AC File Open...
Anyone else getting same thing?
PS I can get custom icons in WinExp via Win7 OS...
for example see the Proj Arch icon in the left panel of the Explorer.
So it is not an Explorer issue.

Go to the GRAPHISOFT Shell Extension folder within the ArchiCAD application folder and double-click the Register.bat file to run it.
See if that handles it.
