Roof disappearing when I split it.

I watched some videos on YouTube on how to make 3D roof tiles. But when I tried to split my roof, it suddenly disappeared.

It looks like there's an horizontal 3D cutting plane,

Is the 3D cutting on ? if so turn it off.

The best you can do is to uninstall your software and install again. Everything will start working normal
