I do have a "Grid" Layer, but the only thing on that layer are 6 Grid Elements.
the roof should have no SEO connection to those grid elements. This is that first time I have use the Grid Element in a project.
What is going on?

Maybe earlier the Grid was accidentally selected as operator when you performed an SEO.
Can't you just click in the title row of the little palette listing the SEOs and remove them all in one step?

I actually only have 6 items in the Grid Tool and there were 22 listed in the SEO.
I was also informed by "Tech Support" that:
"Grid" is the ID not the element name. Check the IDs of the walls and other elements that are interacting with the roof.
I Just found the Items, they are the Jack Rafters that are part of the California Valley framing. They somehow got the ID name of Grid.
