I`m trying to Make a SEO to open a hole in a roof. but i couldn`t.
I did, but when I erase the block it came back to the whole roof...
is this the way that SEO operates?? Do I have to manually draw this type of roof or there is another way to make a hole on it??
Thanks guys

You cannot delete the Operator. It must remain in the model (on a layer turned off if you like) for the operation to work. Whenever the operator is moved, the SEO operation moves accordingly. Always live.

An alternative in your situation, though, would just be to make a hole in your roof (select roof, and with roof tool active draw the shape of the hole).

Not an alternative ... there is no need to use SEO for a hole in the roof.

The same way, you do the holes in any other polygon (mesh, fill, slab ...)

One use for SEO through 3D polygon elements is so that you can assign the materials of the edge of the hole (the SEO option where the materials of the operator, not the target, are used). It would be helpful to be able to assign different materials to the edges of holes (via pet palette, similar to changing the edge angle of roof elements) so that this would not be necessary.

very interesting !!!
And for export to dwg the slab with this different materials what is the best way? I tried for dwg and 3ds, but it came as a whole slab layer not different materials as in the original model...
tried the 3ds option for export materials and also didn`t worked.. and the windows and doors came with the layers of the wall that they belong.. so when I change the material it also ignore the windows setting...
