Rotated Wall Tags, Hotlink Module Instance Problem

We're having an issue with wall tags that live in a hotlink module being rotated so they end up parallel with the wall. The first picture included here is the module where the tags look fine, and the second is an instance of that module in the project file.

We're running AC 14 on Mountain Lion--I wonder if it's a problem with 14 and ML? anyone else have similar problems.

(On a separate but related note, sometimes the wall tag labels are oriented fine, but the text comes in upside down... if anyone has info on that, that would be helpful too!)
