You can select all in the 3D window then group them. Now when you select one of them in 2d you will select all because they are grouped.

If I am understanding the problem correctly, all 3 walls are on the same story, stacked on top of each other. If you place your cursor over the stack of walls you can hit tab to cycle through the walls to select and get just the 2nd wall.

Here is the best answer at the moment:http://www.archicadwiki.com/SelectionsBetweenFloorPlanAnd3DWindow But I agree with you. I wish the selected object in one view could stay selected in any other view if the user desires.
Here is a wish from a few months back. Vote for it.http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=187914&sid=fff563932396bcfe9f2849958d11b61e

Sifliginius,
What is it that you want to do in 2D that you can't in 3D?
I can't think of anyting you can't change while you have it selected in 3D.
There shouldn't be any need to switch to 2D.
Barry.

I think the editing plane and 3D guidelines Graphisoft has introduced in AC15 are brilliant.
