I have seen a similar problem in the 3D window, where we click on one element and an entirely different element is selected, which is not even near the desired element!
Haven't reported it yet either.

Interestingly I've had similar problems occur to me as well, both in AC10 -
Sometimes when you try to select objects near to you in the 3d window, it appears as if it isn't there and selects something behind instead. Closing the 3d window and opening it again seems to correct it for me.
Also when working in 3d window, if I switch back quickly to the floor plan window before the 3d window has finished redrawing all the elements, the 2d window sort-of freezes - you can still use an area the same size as the 3d window on plan, but the rest has stalled. A restart of the program is needed to get it to work properly again. (Actually whilst playing about I found resizing the window from big to small to big again seems to bring it to life once more.) I still don't think it should do it though.
I can seem to reproduce it fairly easily. See attached screenshot. You can see the 'stalled' area to the right hand side and bottom of the floor plan.
I assume it's because of my under-powered graphics card, as I don't hear it mentioned ever. Time to upgrade perhaps!!
