Show brick lines in 2D using skins

I am a couple months into my Archicad journey. It is tough to find help on one-off items. I have modeled brick with complex profiles. Yet, I have been encouraged to use skins where possible to make quicker drawings. It's a dilemma to draw with a lot of complex profiles or draw with composites and skins. I am trying to find best practices.

I need show brick on the front of a house on 2D and 3D and wondering if there is a way to get brick to show on 2D plan using composite with brick skin?

I want to see a brick line on the exterior wall in the 2D plan using a composite wall and skins.

By 2D, I am not sure if you mean Plan View or if you mean in a Elevation View?  Both are possible.

If its and Exterior Elevation View, you can get that using settings in the 3D window, or in Section or Elevation Views.

If your talking about using Image Fills in a Floor Plan View, there is a way to do that too.    Which view is it that you want to see the Brick.  Also, is it the Brick Texture Vectorial lines you want to see or an image of the brick?  Is this for use in a Rendering, Screen Shot, Drawing... ?
