Show hidden lines of beams in section

Anonymous

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to show the hidden lines of a beam in a section?

I'm currently modeling an old home wich has wooden beams that are inserted into a brick construction wall. It would be nice to show these beams that are inside the wall in section with a dashed line.

So far I could only find settings and tutorials about the display of beams in floor plan, but not the section.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I am afraid you will have to do that manually.
Archicad does not offer such a feature in Sections.

Laszlo is right, natively there is no function like this.
(You could make wish, I suppose this is something many of us could need in one or another kind of situation.)

However, Heimo Mooslechner did something similar for walls in an elevation back then with labels:

Maybe this works with beams, too.
