Can you show a screenshot?
But maybe the fastest way is to recreate the slab, if this does not solve quickly.

the problem is that recreating the slab faced 2 problems ..first is that I have to redo all the dimensions linked to slab (in all the architectural plans, sections , etc , and the Structural drawings, and thats why I tried to avoid it ) however even duplicating the slab in position didn't work ( once I apply SEO to the new slab it acts with the same behavior )
So I end up undoing all the SEO applied to slab ( it worked finally) . and I just have to live with the minor issues that I have now.

Whatever,
You are not alone... This has been happening since SEO's came out...
There are occasions when elements, such as windows, will CAST a slab to infinity while viewing in a 3d window (with marquee from floor plan)...
My work around is to view ALL instead... I know, not a fix... just a way to get it done..
I have no idea what the impact in in the 3d Document window...

Hi Duane,
Not sure what do you mean by view full ? do you mean full 3D ?
this is not the case here .. the slab is missing when the Partial structure option is set to all instead of core or without finishes . so basically even in sections that slab is missing as long as the sections/ elevations are showing full components of the elements.
