Slanted wall, shell, or mesh?

Hello, everybody! I am new in archicad, so I need some help. Would you please explain me which is the best tool from the three above for making this model? And which are the main steps?
Thank you in advance!

I would use roof planes since they produce a predictable and controllable thickness as well as controllable edge angles - for smooth meeting edges. They can also easily be refined in 3D after initial placement.

You CAN create your basic form with a mesh and later CONVERT the mesh into roof planes using an Add-On downloadable from:

As for steps: place the planes individually and grow the structure by alternating between placing in plan and tuning in 3D.
